Tony said the atmosphere in there is incredible, the best he's ever seen, even better than Indigo2 on 21st September 2007. He said it's the best. After 7 years absence (apart from Hop Farm) people are clearly hungry for some Prince and this is reflected in the atmosphere and the crowd that are there tonight.

I'm sooooo jealous! Two shows in one night. I'm glad it was worth the long wait though, they deserved it. And to hear Bambi to, an all time classic...

He texted me after the first show when he got outside and said that he was currently "thinking about " whether to line up for the next show. I told him to get in line now! The line was much shorter and within half an hour of him leaving the first show they'd be opening the doors again so it was a no brainer.

As great that is for people and I would definately do the same.

People going in for round two is what I was worried of - my boyfriend has been travelling for 6 and half hours and only got there 15mins ago, really hope he manages to get in, I will be gutted for him if not

I hope he gets in too. He should do, the queue for the first show was massive and people had been queuing from around midday today, and as far as I know, not many have stuck around for the second show so he should get in OK.

So the set list that was posted with about 7 songs...was that it? Or was that just a partial list?

Yeah, me too, since 8 a.m. this morning and until gone midnight last night. Do let us know if he gets in won't you. I'm waiting to hear from my brother too to see if he was lucky enough to get back in. He queued in the rain all day from 1.30 to get into the first show at 8.15.

Can I ask, was it definitely one ticket per person?

(Just wondering cos have a friend stuck working in Berlin and another who just had all their wisdom teeth yanked out. Not sure she will be well enough to line up for 10 hours).

Yes it was. But I'm hoping for some advanced ticket sales as I won't be queuing up for hours on end without a guarantee I'm going to get in so unless they change what happened today going forward, I won't be going at all.

Well Tony started this thread so he can finish it with reports and 2 main shows and an after party!

Except he's not in the second show! The people who were waiting outside for the 2nd show when he was in the first were given slips so that they get priority for the second show (quite rightly). So when he comes out and joins the queue, he has no slip. He got to the front of the queue, eventually, and they wouldn't let him in without a slip! So he has to wait now for all of the slips to be given in and if there's any room left, he can go in.

Great hearing about how the shows are going. Must ask though, and it could be that I missed it, but is anything actually likely to be announced? Has anything been announced - not general articles or rumours, but definite venues and dates? Family stuff and other people at work taking time off are now beginning to eat into any potential for me to go down to London so if the cryptic hints mixed with people bullshitting on Twitter doesn't become more official I might just book some time off next week and get down there on a hope and a prayer. But obviously if an announcement is actually going to happen then waiting would make more sense. Anyone know which it is?
